AT&T has posted a US$6.68 billion loss for the fourth quarter of its current financial year mainly on the back of fees the operator has had to pay as result of its failed acquisition of T-Mobile USA. AT&T shares lost two and a half per cent despite the fact that the company shifted a total of 9.4 million smartphones over the quarter, the bulk of which (7.6 million) were Apple iPhones.
